PERSONALITY: Mateo, what words can describe him? When you first meet him, his dark clotheing and hair might make him seem unapproachable, but as soon as you know him you will know he us as harmless as those fluffy bunnies he loves so much! he honestly wouldn't hurt a fly! unless, of course, that fly messed with bailey -- his twin cousin -- first! than he will come at you with his multi-colored fly-swatter and kick major ass!
another word that may describe mateo is nerd and immature -- but in a cute way! he is always laughing at the stupidity of himself and his 'twin', even if it literally is stupid. he will take any dare from her, even if it gets them kicked out of the franklin institute ... again. he also loves anime! drawing, watching, anything! he even learns the lines and acts them out with bailey ... and the fight scenes are his favorites! he also watches dora the explorer, with his favorite character being boots the monkey -- also happens to be one of his idols!
mateo is totally obsessed with music! he can't sing at all -- unless screeching is considering singing, and not the screeching like in senses fail or slipknot! -- but he can play music on any instrument. he has a total mind for music notes and lyrics -- just not for schoolwork ... hmmm ...

HISTORY: He was born in England, explaining his adorable British accent, at the exact same time as his "twin cousin" Bailey. They lived together in the same house with their families, and everyone got along. For the most part. They were one of those happy families you think you only see on TV, and Bailey and Mateo did everything together. They even shared the same room, or rather, two rooms. Some nights they would sleep in his room, and other nights in her's. They had so much fun together, and everyone always thought that they were twins for real and sometimes didn't believe them when they said they were twins. When the "twins" were nineteen, just a few weeks after their birthday, their families decided to move to America. Sadly, a few months after moving, there was a horrible accident that ended with Mateo dying. They were all out at the park, just strolling around, and Mateo and Bailey were balancing on the curbs and just having fun, until Bailey tripped over her feet and stumbled into the road. It would have been something to laugh about, had a car going way to fast not come around the corner and sped toward her. Thinking fast, Mateo had jumped into the road, pushing his best friend out of the way of the car. Thankfully, he didn't feel much when the car hit him. He died almost instantly.
