Toby is, first and foremost, mute. He is not dumb however - he is perfectly capable of understanding speech and writing, but he is physically incapable of speaking due to damage to his voice box as a child. He is very flighty and wary around strangers, especially when there's a crowd around. Once he gets to know you however, he's one of the most loyal friends you'll ever have, to the point he'd risk his life to you. He has a streak of stubbornness a mile long, especially when it comes to the people he views as his friends. He has an intense fear of fire due to an event when he was a child, and can usually be found as far away from any kind of fire as he can get. He is Angelus's son - however, he is ignorant to this fact due to a kind of amnesia.

As I said, it is rather hard to get close to Toby due to his general distrust of strangers - but worm your way through his shell and you'll be a friend for life. He'd go to war and even die for his friends, and there's a fierceness that erupts when they're threatened that would surprise most people due to his smaller build. He's... it's not exactly friendly when approached, i'd say more of polite reservation, but he wouldn't straight out ignore or run away from someone if they weren't attacking him.

Pretty much any kind of demons, or anyone who fights against the angels, or any enemy of Angelus's xD Due to his family, I could see a lot of people trying to hunt him due to who his father is, or trying to use him in some way - especially with how ignorant he is of who his family is.
